Pitch Checker

비어 있는
개발자: Shigeki Matsunaka

App Store

The app analyzes real-time audio from the microphone and displays information such as musical scale, pitch, octave, frequency, and waveform.

■ Usage Examples
- Measure vocal range
- Practice absolute pitch
- Determine the musical scale (pitch detection) of a song
- Vocal exercises
- Karaoke practice
- Correction of tone deafness
- Frequency measurement
- Voice training
- Basic instrument tuning (as a tuner)
- Do, Re, Mi detection

You can pause the analysis with a tap, allowing you to review the results at your own pace. The display also supports notations like low A, mid 2 A, hihi A, etc.

■ How to Use
Simply launch the app, and it will measure the pitch of sounds captured by the microphone, whether from voice or instruments. To avoid picking up small sounds and noise, slide the "Microphone Sensitivity" bar on the upper left side of the screen upward.

■ Settings
From the gear icon in the top right corner, you can access the following settings:
- Toggle between sharp and flat notations
- Switch the display notation to a larger format in the center (Do, Re, Mi, CDEFGAB)
- Set the reference pitch
- Adjust the pitch acquisition speed

■ FAQ
Q. I want to measure the vocal range.
A. The app also displays ranges like hihi A or lowlow A. Feel free to use them.

Q. The pitch is displayed even when its quiet.
A. Due to very small noise, pitch may be displayed even in completely quiet places. To avoid picking up noise, slide the "Microphone Sensitivity" bar next to the pitch display upward to ignore small sounds.

Q. I want to use it as a tuner.
A. You can use it without any specific settings, but changing the display notation from "Do, Re, Mi" to "CDEFGAB" in the center is more convenient. Press the gear icon in the top right corner, then tap the right side of "Display notation" under "Large display notation."
